Coach Harp Gill

Harp Gill grew up in Toronto, Ontario, and played his high school basketball at Rick Hansen Secondary, where he won two city championships (Gr 9 & 11). He went on to play post-secondary basketball at the University of Toronto Mississauga. Once his playing career was over, he spent 2 seasons as the Junior Varsity head coach.

After moving to British Columbia, Harp coached for youth programs in the province leading his teams to AAU championships against elite competition across Canada & States. He later joined the Lord Tweedsmuir coaching staff (AC) and helped them win their first Provincial Title ‘19, Surrey's first major title in 40 years. In his time there they also won the RCMP Championship ‘20 after being finalists the previous season and many more accolades.

Most recently Coach Harp completed a perfect 11-0 U15 Gold Championship season in the BCBAA ‘22

As a skills trainer Harp has the ability to teach shooting, finishing, ball handling, passing, decision making and use his coaching experience to develop skilled players.

Coach Rowan Gilbert - Providence University

Rowan Gilbert will be joining our coaching staff for the 2024 Spring/Summer season. Rowan, who graduated from Grandview Heights Secondary School in 2023, has been a part of the 604 Basketball family since 2021 as a player. Rowan had a very successful high school career being the Grandview Heights senior boys team captain for 2 seasons in Grade 11 and 12. In his senior season he averaged 27.8 points per game, 15.7 rebounds, and 5.3 steals.

Currently Rowan is in his first year playing university basketball at Providence University College in Manitoba. Rowan has extensive sports camp volunteer hours working with youth players. Most recently in the summer of 2024 with White Rock Baptist Church. Rowan is looking forward to coaching our BC Elite program this summer!
